Draw Strings are not what they seem
First off: I love Jack Adams and (most) everything I get from them is flawless execution. However these shorts are a different story: I'm in between a medium and a large in this style I think, unlike previously available Jack Adam styles where a large was perfect: I usually get a large, assuming that the draw strings can tighten the waist band, but the draw string doesn't go all the way around the waist - it stops at the pockets. This is a bizarre choice in my opinion - most athletic shorts have the draw strings going all around the waist band. Because it is not a true draw string, I needed to constantly tighten this one a lot tighter than traditional shorts and in the process I ripped the string clean off which made them useless. I love the styling of these shorts and the material, but the execution is not great as it pertains to the waist band. However I am considering sizing down to medium because what these shorts do have is ample room for the manhood - and combined with the styling and material comfort hopefully makes up for it's deficiencies elsewhere..
